B1540 - Very Darling Vintage French Hand Made Wool & Satin Cushion, Pink Roses & Leaves

This is a very darling vintage French hand worked wool cushion cover and pad dating around 1950 / 1960. It would be the perfect accessory for a vintage shabby chic interior.

The front panel is worked in wool using a latch hook technique. There is a gorgeous two tone pink roses design on a cream background.  A dark pink and baby pink border completes this charming ensemble.

The reverse of the cushion is made in a gorgeous pink satin. There is an opening to take the pad out and this is held closed by press studs.

We have not taken the pad out but it seems to be of modern manufacture, fits the cover perfectly and is plumptious.

The cushion is in excellent vintage condition. It measures approx. 40 cm square.
