B1898 - Fabulous Vintage French Claw Set Facetted Crystal Aurora Borealis Brooch, Pin

This stunning vintage French brooch would certainly add the finishing touch to a little black dress. It is claw set with middle European facetted glass crystals in a beautiful flower design.

The setting is gilded and is very intricate. The centre of the brooch is formed by a round pink aurora borealis stone. This is surrounded by smoky grey and pink aurora borealis marquise stones set in a flower configuration. An outer row of small round grey stones defines the petals of the flower - just lovely. The stones are very sparkly and the colour combination is to die for!

The pin is in good order and has a safety catch.

The brooch measures 4.5 cm (1.75 inches) in diameter and is in good vintage condition.
