B1923 - SOLD

This is a beautiful antique French Art Nouveau plaster bust dating from about  1900. It would look superb, perhaps on a mantelpiece or on a sidetable.

The subject is a beautiful girl. She has dreamy eyes, pink lips and a blush upon her cheeks. Her hair is tied softly in a top knot and is adorned to either side with a flower.

She sits on a fabulous base in atmospheric shades. It is adorned with a gorgeous butterfly beneath which is the title 'PAPPILLON'.

She is in good antique condition with just a very little minor distressing to the paint (please see photos).

She measures :- 33.5 cm (13.1 inches) high x 17.5 cm (6.8 inches) wide x 9 cm (3.5 inches) deep.

This is a gorgeous bust to add an authentic antique French finishing touch and another divine brocante find from La Belle Étoffe!
