This is a superb pair of antique French Art Deco letter racks dating about 1920. They are made in Thuya Burl with fabulous graining and colour to the wood.

They are of typical Art Deco style with lovely domed contours. They have the gorgeous Thuya Burl on all four sides so they can stand in the middle of a desk. Each rack has has 3 slots to take letters.

The pair is in good antique condition with evidence of normal wear. We have left the wood as we found it but it would polish further if required. The wood of one of the racks is lighter in colour than the other.

Each rack measures :-  19.75 cm (7.75 inches) wide x 15 cm (6 inches) high x 7.75 cm (3 inches) deep.

A gorgeous pair of letter racks to use and enjoy and another divine antique French find from la Belle Étoffe!
