This is a superb pair of two armed antique French brass candle wall sconces. They would certainly add flickering candlelit atmosphere to a château chic interior.

They are very substantial and sturdy with good weight. The backplate has decorative scrolled leaves holding onto which is a charming winged cherub. Each cherub is different and faces towards the other.

The two arms branch out from the backplate and have leaf detail. The candle cups sit on decorative leafed bobeche.

There is a slot on the back of each sconce for hanging on a wall.

One of the sconces has some patination, probably where some polish remains. This is a look that we like but it could of course be cleaned off if required.

Each sconce measures  :- 38 cm (15 inches) high x 25 cm (9.75 inches) wide x approx 15 cm (6 inches) deep.
