B1704 - SOLD

This is a fabulous large antique French Art Nouveau plaster bust dating from about 1900. It would look superb, perhaps on a mantelpiece or on a sidetable.

The subject is a beautiful girl. She has dreamy eyes and full rosebud lips upon which is a gentle smile. She wears the most amazing huge bow high on the top of her head and the ribbon tails fall down her back. She wears a tightly laced green bodice over a chemise.

She sits on an architectural integral plinth. The overall colour of the bust is an atmospheric sepia brown.

We have left the bust as we found her. She is in good antique condition with just a little  distressing to the paint (please see photos).

She measures :- 44 cm (17.3 inches) high x 27 cm (10.6 inches) wide x 17 cm (6.75 inches) deep.

This is a gorgeous bust to add an authentic antique French finishing touch and another divine brocante find from La Belle Étoffe!
