This is a gorgeous vintage French Chantilly lace evening shawl / stole dating around 1950.  It is very glamourous and would be the perfect accessory for a little black dress.

The lace is black and coffee coloured and is absolutely covered in gold sequins.

The shawl is rectangular in shape and has a fabulous shimmering long gold fringe to both ends. The fringe adds weight to the shawl and swishes beautifully.

The shawl is in excellent vintage condition. The fringe has frothed a little.

The shawl measures :- 212 cm (83.5 inches) long including the fringe x 56 cm (22 inches) wide. The fringe is 20 cm (8 inches) long.

This is a fabulous shawl to add glamour to an outfit and another divine vintage textile find from La Belle Étoffe.
