B1800 - Stunning Pair Antique French Art Nouveau Triple Arm Iris Candlesticks, Circa 1900

This is a stunning pair of antique French triple arm candlesticks in the Art Nouveau style dating around 1900. They are made in spelter and have a left and right configuration. They would certainly add flickering candlelit atmosphere to a château chic interior.

Each candlestick has a sturdy square base with 4 scrolled feet. The base is decorated to two sides with a pansy and a fleur de lys to the other two. Iris leaves burgeon up from the base to form the three arms of the candlestick and there is an iris flower nestled amongst them.

The spelter has a lovely atmospheric bronze hue.

The candlesticks are sturdy. The drip plates are 'angled' a little in places but they are firm.

Each candlestick measures :- 33 cm (13 inches) high x 21 cm (8.25 inches) wide x 12 cm (4.75 inches) deep.

Whether placed on a simple country buffet or a grand enfilade these gorgeous candlesticks will look stunning. They are from a carefully selected collection of antique French decorative pieces at 'La Belle Étoffe'.
