B1835 - SOLD

This is a beautiful antique French plaster bust dating from the early 1900's. It is a very atmospheric piece and would be the perfect finishing touch in a vintage home.

The subject is a very pretty young country maiden. She has beautiful eyes and rosy cheeks and lips. She wears a simple dark green gown with a square neckline and puff sleeves. Her bonnet is tied at the top of her head with a bow.

She is engraved on the back with a signature, the maker's mark and PARIS.

The bust is in good antique condition with just a little patina and distressing from the passage of time.

She measures :-  29.5 cm (11.6 inches) high x 26.5 cm (10.4 inches) wide x 15 cm (5.9 inches) deep.

This is a gorgeous bust to add an authentic antique French finishing touch and another divine brocante find from La Belle Étoffe!
