B1054 - Divine Vintage French Floral Tapestry Panel, Seat, Upholstery Project

This is a divine vintage French tapestry panel. It would be lovely just hung on a wall but would be perfect for covering a bed head or a salon sofa seat to add a pretty château chic finishing touch to a room.

The background colour is a lovely deep rose pink. In the centre is the oval shaped design. It has a gorgeous scrolled leaf and flower garland border and a central bouquet of flowers against a rust background.

The flowers are in shades of deep pink, yellow blue and lilac which look superb against the lush green leaves and rust background.

The tapestry is woven in cotton. The panel looks like it has never been used and is in good vintage condition. There is some darkening to the folds on the back of the tapestry where it has been stored (please see photos).

The tapestry panel measures :- 160 cm (5 ft 4 inches) wide x 82 cm (2 ft 8.25 inches) high.

The central design measures :- 116 cm (3ft 9.75 inches) wide x 50 cm (1 ft 7.75 inches) high.
