This gorgeous antique French studded box would be perfect for all sorts of treasure from jewels to love letters and would look equally at home in a boudoir or on a gentleman's dressing stand.

The box is made in wood and is covered in embossed leather decorated with a myriad of metal studs.

The lid is domed and lifts up to reveal a red baize interior. There is a lock and key which works perfectly.

The box is sturdy. and the interior is clean. The metal studs and the leather have patinated to perfection over the years.

The box measures :- 26 cm (10.25 inches) wide x 12 cm (4.75 inches) deep x 14.25 cm (5.6 inches) high.
