This sublime antique French embroidered pelmet would be divine over a window or a door and could perhaps be used over a bed.

It is made in linen in a lovely natural hue. It is beautifully hand embroidered with three urns, one to the centre and one to each of the bottom corners. The urns are filled and connected with a plethora of beautiful rose tendrils.

The urns are embroidered in brown and the roses are in shades of pink, yellow, orange and red.

The pelmet is trimmed with a lovely hand made cream lace from which hang grey tassels.

The pelmet is in good antique condition. We have left it as we found it. There is one very faint mark (please see photos) which would surely launder out if required.

It measures :- 148 cm (4 ft 10.25 inches) wide x 46 cm (4 ft 6.1 inches) high not including the tassels. The tassels are approx. 6 cm (2.3 inches) long.
