This is a fantastic antique French wood framed mirror dating from about 1880.
It has been beautifully painted in a soft antique white and delicately distressed in more recent years.
The mirror frame is highly detailed with intricate carving and has a sublime carved bow and ribbon tail crest.
The plate is original to the mirror. It is bevelled and enhanced by a fine dusting of age spots.
The mirror also has it's original wood back.
This is an impressive and substantial mirror, a real statement piece for any room.
