B1442 - Charming Antique French Religious Spelter Statue, Holy Family St. Famille, Circa 1900

This is a charming antique French religious scene cast in spelter and dating from about 1900. It is very decorative and would add a stunning architectural touch to a display.

It features the Holy family grouped below a beautiful palm tree. Mary sits with the Infant Jesus on her knee while Joseph stands behind with his staff in hand.

The base of the piece is also decorative and bears the title 'St. FAMILLE'.

The spelter is cast in wonderful detail and is in an atmospheric pewter hue.

The piece is sturdy and substantial.

It measures :- H 16 cm (6.25 inches) x W 8 cm (3.1 inches) x D 7.25 cm (2.75 inches).
