This is a sublime antique French religious diorama. It would make a stunning addition to a religious display or could perhaps just be enjoyed for it's beauty.

The diorama features the virgin Mary on an atmospheric grey cloudy background. Her hands are held in prayer and around her head the words 'JE SUIS L'IMMACULÉE CONCEPTION' form her halo.

Surrounding Mary are many Biblical scenes. They are all depicted in lovely detail and colour and look fabulous against the cloudy grey background.

A glass dome with silver gilding detail covers this pictoral beauty. The glass sits in a metal frame with a cardboard back.  There is a metal loop for hanging on a wall.

The diorama measures :- 24 cm (9.4 inches) high x 20 cm (7.9 inches) wide.
