B1927 - Divine Antique French Cast Iron Architectural Mount / Plaque Winged Cherub, 19th Century

This is a divine antique French architectural mount / plaque dating from the 1800's. It is very decorative and would be fantastic to incorporate into a building project as a focal point either inside or outside a house. Or it could just be used as a decorative piece and displayed on a wall or perhaps on a console table with other architectural treasure.

It is made of cast iron and is a substantial piece weighing over 2.3 kg. It has a fabulous scrolled and curled design with a gorgeous central winged cherub.

The cast iron has a wonderful antique patina.

The plaque measures :- W 42.5 cm (16.7 inches) x H 16.25 cms (6.4 inches).
