B2014 - Beautiful Set 8 Antique French Gilded Acanthus Leaf Chateau Curtain Rings, 19th Century

This is a beautiful set of 8 antique French gilded metal curtain rings dating from the 1800's.

They have a gorgeous acanthus leaf embellishment that will sweep down over the top of the curtain when hung on a pole. The effect will be stunning and very chic.

These rings were originally sewn directly onto the curtain but a wire loop could be added to each ring in order to take a modern curtain hook. 

The rings are all good and strong with no dents. The gilding has acquired an antique patina in places but overall still remains bright and beautiful. 

Each ring including the acanthus leaf embellishment measures 7 cm (2.76 inches) high x 3 cm (1.25 inches) wide.

The inside diameter of the curtain ring measures 5 cm (2 inches) .
