This is a gorgeous pair of two arm antique French gilded metal candle wall sconces dating from the 19th Century. They would certainly add a spectacular flickering candlelit atmosphere to a château chic interior.

The two scrolled arms and brass tendrils branch out from the backplate. The arms and the tendrils are hung with prism and pendalogue crystals with rose buttons. Each sconce has 14 crystals, the largest measuring 8 cm ( 3.1 inches).

The sconces are sturdy with good weight. They are in good antique condition. The crystals are all intact. There is a slot on the back plate for hanging purposes.

The gilding has a subtle antique patina while still having a golden glow.

Each sconce measures  :- 33 cm (13 inches) high (to the bottom of the lowest crystal) x 31 cm (12.2 inches) wide x approx 11 cm (4.3 inches) deep.
