This is a superb vintage French religious picture in the classic style and in a wooden frame. It is after 'Virgin With Grapes' painted by Pierre Mignard in the 1650's. The original is now hanging in the Louvre.

This later version certainly captures the atmospheric essence of the subject and enables us to have a tangible decorative piece to add an authentic château chic finishing touch.

The reverse of the picture has a loop for hanging and the retailer's label.

The picture in it's frame measures :- 28 cm (11 inches) square.

This is divine religious picture for a special niche and another superb vintage French find from La Belle Étoffe.
