B2167 - Superb SET 18 Antique French Chateau Curtain Rings, Acanthus Leaf Embellishment

This is a superb set of 18 antique French gilded metal curtain rings dating from the 1800's. 

They are very substantial and have a gorgeous toleware acanthus leaf embellishment that will sweep down over the top of the curtain when hung on a pole. The effect will be stunning and very chic.

These rings would originally have been sewn directly onto the curtain but they now each have a wire loop to take a modern curtain hook. 

The rings are in good antique condition. The gilding on the metal has mellowed to a gorgeous antique hue whilst still retaining golden highlights.

Each ring including the acanthus leaf embellishment measuresapprox. 8 cm (3.1 inches) high x 2.75 cm (1.1 inches) wide.

The inside of the curtain ring itself measures 5.5 cm (2.1 inches) diameter.
