B999 - Amazing Set 3 Vintage Marshall & Snelgrove Gown / Garment Boxes, Mid 1900's

This is an amazing set of 3 vintage gown boxes from the famous department store Marshall & Snelgrove who had their flagship store on London's Oxford Street until 1973. The boxes date from the mid 1900's and would be superb for storing vintage clothes and would look divine piled up perhaps on top of a wardrobe.

The design on the boxes is absolutely gorgeous. The brightly coloured bunches of flowers look superb against the black background. They are joined by a continuous ribbon with little bows. The ribbon has the name 'Marshall & Snelgrove' printed on it.

The boxes are in good vintage condition with some age spots and a little wear. There is a tear to the corner of the smallest one.

They measure from the smallest to the largest :-
Width 46 cm (18 inches) x Depth 30 cm (12 inches) x Height 7.5 cm (3 inches)
Width 53 cm (20.75 inches) x Depth 33.5 cm ((13.25 inches) x Height 9.5 cm (3.75 inches)
Width 57 cm (22.5 inches) x Depth 37.5 cm (14.74 inches) x Height 11.5 cm (4.5 inches).
