This is an amazing vintage French wall hanging. It has a medieval woodsmen 'tapestry' design and is printed on linen. It would add a fabulous château chic finishing touch and would look superb in a country house home.

The design is incredibly detailed and is full of life and activity. It depicts a group of very industrious men and women. They are cutting down wood and loading a large cart which dominates the centre of the scene. In the background is a town on a river or lake.

The design is beautifully printed. The colours are a stunning combination of rich greens, pinks, rust and browns.

The wall hanging has a green linen lining. It is nice and heavy and hangs perfectly. On the back are metal rings for hanging purposes.

It is in excellent vintage condition.

It measures :- 156 cm (5 ft 1.5 inches) wide x 106 cm (3 ft 5.5 inches ) high.
