This is a stunning pair of antique French ormolu curtain pole finials dating from the 1800's. They would certainly add a touch of grandeur to a curtain ensemble.

They have a leaf and flower centre design.They are heavy and of good quality with excellent detail to the casting of the metal. Over the years the ormolu has mellowed, and patinated with a touch of verdigis, to wonderful effect.

The finials have their original screws for fixing to a pole.

The finials measure:- 10 cm (4 inches) high (excluding the screw) x 7 cm (2.75 inches) wide. The base plate is 5 cm (2 inches) in diameter.
