B1076 - Gorgeous Antique French Religious Print, Mary & Sacred Heart, Art Nouveau Frame

This is a gorgeous antique French religious print of Mary dating from about 1900. It is in a beautiful, gesso on wood, Art Nouveau frame.

Mary is depicted in wonderful colour and detail. Her eyes and hair are exquisite. Her beautiful hands frame the sacred burning heart at her chest.

Her mantle drapes softly around her head and she wears a gorgeous red tunic which looks stunning against her embroidered teal tunic.

The Art Nouveau frame is also fabulous. It has a swirling flower design evocative of the era. The gilding is of a soft old gold hue.

The frame and print are in good antique condition. There is a little marking to the right hand edge of the print as one looks at it but it does not detract from this wonderful old piece.

The print in it's frame measures 64 cm (25.25 inches) high x 52.5 cm (20.75 inches) wide x 4 cm (1.5 inches) deep.
