This is a divine antique French religious wax bust of  Mary, the Madonna dating from the late 1800's, early 1900's.  It is a very decorative piece and would make a stunning addition to any vintage display.

Mary is very serene. Her head is turned and her eyes are closed. The neckline of her gown is classically medieval and her mantle drapes beautifully around her head. The sepia coloured wax adds to the simplicity of the piece.

She is in good antique condition and measures :- H 17 cm (6.75 inches) x W 15 cm (6 inches) x D 9.5 cm ( 3.75 inches).
