This is an amazing set of 9 antique French gilded metal curtain rings dating from the 1800's. We have never seen any like them before! They are absolutely stunning and would hold a very heavy château curtain, portière or perhaps a tapestry wall hanging.

These rings were originally sewn directly onto the curtain. They also have a gorgeous medallion embellishment which screws through the textile to create a stunning chic effect.

The rings are all good and strong with no dents. The gilding has mellowed to a gorgeous antique hue.

Each ring including the medallion measures 14 cm (5.5 inches) high x 4.5 cm (1.75 inches) wide.

The inside of the curtain ring itself measures 6 cm (2.5 inches) diameter.

N.B. We have another set of 12 curtain rings, B1126. They are the same as these rings but without the medallion and could be alternated with these rings on a larger curtain or pair of curtains.We have included them in the photos of these medallion rings to show the effect but they are available seperately.
