This is an exceptional pair of antique French brass church pricket candlesticks dating from the 19th Century. They would originally have stood on a church altar but would now make a very stylish addition to a château chic interior.

They are very decorative and detailed. They sit on three sturdy scrolled feet. The base has three dimensional scrolled and pierced detail. However, it is the bobeche which set these candlesticks apart from others ,as they are huge and add proportion and elegance to these wonderful candlesticks.

Whether placed on a simple country buffet or a grand enfilade these gorgeous candlesticks will look stunning.

Each candlestick measures :- H 38 cm (15 inches) to the top of the spike x 14.5 cm (5.75 inches) along one side of the base.
