This is the most gorgeous antique French little repoussé brass crown dating from the 19th Century. It would originally have adorned a religious statue and could now be used as such again or incorporated into a religious collection or architectural display.

It is beautifully made from pierced repoussé brass and is topped with an orb and cross. Within the circular base is a strap with a hole for attaching to the statue.

The brass has a wonderful 'golden' quality and catches the eye beautifully.

The crown measures :- 10.7 cm (4.25 inches) high. It is 5 cm (2 inches) in diameter across the base. The widest part is 7.7 cm ( just over 3 inches).
