B1294 - SOLD

This is an exquisite antique French bridal couronne dating from the early 1900's. It is in lovely condition and could now be incorporated into a modern day bridal veil ensemble.

It has a wire frame with wire loops threaded with a plethora of faux pearls in a divine shade of antique cream. The loops culminate to the front in a beautiful raised crest.  Within the miasma of pearls are tiny leaves and faceted paste diamanté stones - lovely!

The tiara has it's original brown cord which would have been worn under the hair. This could of course be removed if required.

The crown is 13.5 cm (5.25 inches) from back to front and is 13 cm (5 inches) from side to side. The crest is 5.5 cm (2.25 inches) high.

This beautiful couronne is from a carefully selected collection of gorgeous antique French decorative pieces & accessories at 'La Belle Étoffe'.

N.B. We have photographed the crown on a gilded plinth, and a marriage cushion both of which are listed in our other items.
