This is a stunning pair of antique French curtain pole finials dating from the 1800's. They would certainly add a touch of grandeur to a curtain ensemble.

They have a beautiful curling acanthus leaf design in a left and right configuration. They are weighty and of good quality with excellent detail to the casting of the metal. Over the years the gilding has mellowed, and patinated with a touch of verdigis, to an atmospheric hue.

The finials measure:- 12 cm (4.75 inches) high  x 6 cm (2.5 inches) wide. The base plate is 4.5 cm (1.75 inches) in diameter.

A superb pair of curtain pole finials to add a château chic finishing touch and another divine antique French find from La Belle Étoffe!
