This is a superb pair of antique French church candelabra dating from the 19th Century. They would have stood on the church altar but would now make a very stylish addition to a château chic interior.

Each candelabrum takes 5 candles and sits on a sturdy triangular base with a stunning floral decoration. The 5 bobeche graduate in height. Their support from the central column is pierced and is entwined with tendrils of beautiful roses and leaves.

The candelabra are made of spelter and are very substantial and sturdy.

The gilding has mellowed over the years to a lovely timeworn old gold hue which still catches the light beautifully.

Each candelabrum measures :- 35 cm (13.5 inches) high x 38 cm (15 inches) wide (approx). The base is 12 cm (4.75 inches) along each side.
