This is a beautiful pair of antique French curtain pole finials dating from the 1800's. They would certainly add a château chic finishing touch to a curtain ensemble.

They have a gorgeous rose garland and bow design. They are weighty and of good quality with excellent detail to the casting of the metal. Over the years the gilding has mellowed and patinated to a lovely old gold hue.

They each have a hole in the bottom for attaching to a pole.

The finials measure:- 13.25 cm (5.25 inches) high  x 8 cm (3.1 inches) wide. The base plate is 5 cm (2 inches) in diameter.
