This is a fabulous pair of antique French cast iron garden urns / florist's vases dating from the 1800's. They are very architectural and may have come from a church. They would look stunning filled with flowers on a console table perhaps in a hall or conservatory.

They are made in cast iron and have a fluted vase shape with a circular base. There is a flower and ivy design to the front and back. The original silver paint on the cast iron has mellowed and patinated over the years to wonderful effect.

The urns are in excellent condition with no repairs or cracks. They are very substantial, each one weighing nearly 2.9 kg.

Each urn measures :- 26.5 cm (10.5 inches) high x 14 cm (5.5 inches) across the top x 12.5 cm ( 5 inches) across the bottom.

A fabulous pair of  urns to add a stunning architectural finishing touch and another superb antique French find from La Belle Étoffe!
