B1386b - SOLD

This divine pair of antique French gilded metal mounts would originally have come from a piece of furniture, perhaps a commode, and date from the 19th Century. They are very decorative and could be incorporated in all kinds of interiors projects to add a château chic finishing touch. We also have another pair of these, B1386a, and a larger pair, B1385, listed in our other items.

They have a gorgeous flower garland swag design with plumptious roses.

The mounts are of excellent quality. Fabulous detail to the casting of the metal gives the roses and flowers their wonderful three dimensional quality.

The gilding on the metal has mellowed to a lovely antique hue.

Each mount has 3 holes to take pins for fixing and measures 15 cm (6 inches) wide x 10 cm (4 inches) high.
