B1400 - Delightful Pair 19th C Antique French Bisque Vases, Frollicking Cherubs On SwingThis is a delightful pair of antique French bisque vases dating from the 19th Century. They are absolutely charming and would make a very decorative vintage display or addition to a cherub collection. The vases are made entirely in white bisque porcelain and have a left and right configuration. They each feature a pair of frollicking cherubs with their little dog. On one of the vases the cherubs are both on a swing and their little dog runs beneath them. On the other vase one of the cherubs hangs from the rope of the swing to make space for the little dog on the seat. A sprig of roses on each vase completes the charming scene. The vases are in good antique condition. A little sepia patination to the bisque highlights it's contours. There is one minor nibble to the bisque on neck of one of the vases (please see photos). Each vase measures :- 20.5 cm (8.1 inches) high x 8 cm (3.1 inches) wide x 6.5 cm (2.5 inches) deep. These sublime vases are from a carefully selected collection of gorgeous antique French decorative pieces at 'La Belle Étoffe'. N.B. We have photographed the vases on a pair of water gilded bases and with a bisque religious statue and these itema are all available in our other listings.
