This is the most divine antique French bed throw dating from the early 1900's. It is large enough to accommodate a king size bed and would certainly add a touch of authentic glamour to a château chic boudoir.

It is made in an exquisite Lyon silk damask in a gorgeous shade of cerise. It is in superb condition and looks like it has never been used.

The textile is truly sumptuous and oozes style and quality. It has a bold large flower design in a silvery pink shade which looks superb against the cerise background. When we look at the reverse we see that it is almost as beautiful as the front!

The throw is trimmed with a fabulous silk fringed passementerie which measures 11 cm (4.25 inches) deep. 4.5 cm (1.75 inches) of this is densely woven silk thread which catches the light beautifully and the remaining 6.5 cm (2.5 inches) is superb twisted fringing - just lovely!

The throw measures :- 260 cm (8 ft 6.25 inches) wide x 210 cm (6 ft 10.75 inches) long not including the fringing.
