B1426 - Charming Antique Religious Painted Bisque Statue, Jesus Christ & Sacred Heart

This is a charming antique religious bisque statue of  Jesus and the Sacred Burning Heart dating from the early 1900's and originating from Germany. It is very decorative and would make a stunning addition to a religious or vintage display.

His face is beautifully painted in fine detail. He bears a gilded Sacred Burning Heart at his chest. His robes fall around him in soft folds. They are trimmed in a sublime shade of blue and are painted with gilded flowers.

He stands upon an integral base, also decorated with the gilded flowers - utterly charming!

The statue is in good antique condition with just a little wear to the gilding.

It measures :-  34 cm (13.3 inches) high. The base is 9.25 cm (3.6 inches) wide x 7.5 cm (3 inches) deep.
