This is a beautiful antique French bridal couronne dating from the early to mid 1900's. It is in lovely condition and could now be incorporated into a modern day bridal veil ensemble to give 'the something old' finishing touch.

The tiara is in a true crown shape and will sit high on the head. It has a wire frame within which is a lattice configuration. The wire is bound with silk thread and is covered with a plethora of wax buds and flowers in antique white - just lovely!

The tiara rises to 10.5 cm (4.1 inches) high at the front. As it sits, it is approx. 17 cm (6.75 inches) from side to side. The wire frame is malleable to accomodate most head sizes and hair styles. We have photographed the crown on an antique mannequin head.
