B1442 - Charming Antique French Religious Spelter Statue, Holy Family St. Famille, Circa 1900

This is a stunning antique French religious scene cast in spelter and dating from about 1900. It is very decorative and would add a stunning architectural touch to a religious display.

It features the Holy family grouped beneath a beautiful palm tree. Jesus stands between his parents. He has the sacred burning heart at his chest. Mary stands to his left, one hand on his shoulder and the other at her chest. Joseph stands at Jesus' right side, staff in hand.

This charming scene is set upon a decorative base with 4 sturdy feet.

The statue is of good quality with excellent weight. The spelter is cast in wonderful detail and definition and has a gorgeous bronzed finish.

It measures :- H 15.5 cm (6.1 inches) x W 12.75 cm (5 inches) x D 8.5 cm (3.34 inches).
