This is a fabulous antique French Art Deco letter rack dating around 1920/1930. It is a very handsome piece and would grace the grandest of executive desks.

It is of very high quality and is made in Thuya Burl with fantastic graining and colour to the wood. The shape is typical of the Art Deco style with lovely domed contours.

The rack has 3 central slots for letters and to either side are 2 slots for pens and pencils. To the front are 4 slots for paper clips, pencil sharpeners etc..

The rack has the gorgeous Thuya Burl on all four sides so it could stand in the middle of a desk. We have left the wood as we found it but it would polish even further if required.

The rack is in good sturdy condition. There is one small chip to the wood on the left hand side (please see photo). 

It measures :- 33 cm (13 inches) wide x 14.75 cm (5.75 inches) high x 13.25 cm (5.25 inches) deep.

A gorgeous letter rack to use and treasure and another divine antique French find from la Belle Étoffe!
