This is a beautiful pair of antique French curtain pole finials dating from the 1800's. They would certainly add a château chic finishing touch to a curtain ensemble.

They have a gorgeous rose garland and bow design. They are weighty and of good quality with excellent detail to the casting of the metal. Over the years the gilding has mellowed and patinated to a lovely old gold hue.

One of them has it's original screw in the bottom for attaching to a pole. We have put a new screw in the other.

The finials measure:- 10.75 cm (4.25 inches) high  x 7 cm (2.75 inches) wide. The base plate is 4.5 cm (1.75 inches) in diameter.
