This is an impressive pair of antique French gilded metal curtain pole finials dating from the 1800's. They would certainly add a touch of grandeur to a curtain ensemble.

They have a pierced leaf design. They are weighty and of large size. They are of good quality with excellent detail to the casting of the metal. The gilding on one of them is a little duller than the other but when positioned at either end of a pole this should not be obvious.

One of the finials has it's original screw and we have added a new one to the other.

Each finial measures:- 17.75 cm (7 inches) high not including the screw  x 10 cm (4 inches) wide. The base plate is 5.25 cm (2.1 inches) in diameter.

A superb pair of curtain pole finials to add a château chic finishing touch and another divine antique French find from La Belle Étoffe!
