B1548 - Beautiful Antique French Fine Muslin, Cornely Lace Long Curtain / Drape 19th C

This is a beautiful antique French Cornely lace curtain dating from the 1800's. It is in exceptional condition, is very long and would be divine incorporated into any number of interior projects.

The textile is a very fine cotton muslin and is absolutely covered in floral vignettes worked in fine chain stitch. The curtain is scalloped to three sides and within this is a sublime embroidered border.

The curtain has been laundered and is white in colour. It is in exceptional antique condition but not surprisingly, considering the delicacy of the textile and it's age, there are one or two tiny pin prick holes which in no way draw the eye from the beauty of this lovely antique lace curtain.

There is a header tape sewn on the back of the curtain to take hooks.

The curtain measures :- 307 cm (10 ft 1 inches) long x 144 cm (4 ft 8.5 inches) wide.
