B1574 - Gorgeous PAIR Antique French Chintz Textile Boudoir Boxes Stunning Florals Circa 1920

This is a gorgeous pair of  antique French textile covered boudoir boxes dating from the 1920's. We found them in different locations but have put them together as a pair as they look superb stacked and one fits inside the other perfectly. The larger box is of particularly generous size and the smaller box would be perfect for gloves.

They are covered in the most gorgeous cotton chintz fabric with vibrant florals on a black background.

They are lined with immaculately clean paper with a brown speckly design. On the base of the larger box is the label 'SAMARITAINE - PARIS'.

Both boxes are in excellent antique condition with no marks or fading.

The larger box measures :- W 40 cm (15.75 inches) x H 8.75 cm (3.5 inches) x D 23.25 cm (9.1 inches).

The smaller box measures :- W 32 cm (12.5 inches) x H 6.5 cm (2.6 inches) x D 11 cm (4.3 inches).

A stunning pair of boxes to add a touch of happiness to a boudoir and another divine antique French find from La Belle Étoffe!
