This is a superb antique French religious statue of  Saint Thérèse dating from the early 1900's. It is very decorative and would make a stunning addition to a religious or vintage display.

She looks very beautiful and serene. Her face is finely painted and her vestments drape beautifully. She clasps the crucifix and roses in her elegant hands.

The colours are wonderful. The beautiful pink of the roses contrasting perfectly with the subtle neutral hues of her nun's habit.

The statue is made in plaster and is a weighty piece. It is in excellent antique condition with just a few tiny specks of distressing to the paint.

The statue measures :-  32 cm (12.5 inches) high. The base is 8.5 cm (3.4 inches) wide x 9 cm (3.5 inches) deep.
