This is a sublime antique French religious porcelain figure of  the Virgin Mary dating from the 19th Century.  It would probably have originally been bought as a souvenir of a pilgrimage to Lourdes. It is a very decorative piece and would make a stunning addition to a religious or vintage display.

Mary has a beautiful serene face. It is beautifully painted in lovely detail and definition. She has a lovely blush to her cheeks & perfect rosebud lips.

Her attire drapes beautifully. She wears a rosary and a blue sash around her waist which looks superb against the antique white of her robe. At each of her feet is a lovely pink rose.

She is highlighted with gilding now faded in places with the passage of time.

She is in good antique condition.

She measures :- H 25.5 cm (10 inches) x W 6.5 cm (2.5 inches) x D 7.25 cm (2.75 inches).
