This is a fabulous pair of antique French carved wood gilded picture frames. They are of good size and would be perfect to make an impressive statement with a pair of  family portraits.

They are rectangular in shape and have a stunning design carved into the wood. The gilding has a particularly radiant golden glow while still retaining the subtlety of age.

The frames are sturdy and are in good antique condition. There is a little drying to the glue in the corners (please see photos). The back and glass have long gone but could easily be replaced.

Each frame measures :- 40.5 cm (16 inches) high x 29 cm (11.4 inches) wide.
The aperture measures :- 31.5 cm (12.4 inches) high x 20 cm (7.9 inches) wide.
