This is a rather splendid antique German porcelain coffee set. It has 4 cups, 4 saucers, a pot with lid, a sugar bowl with lid and a jug. It would be perfect for a genteel gathering and would look gorgeous displayed in a vitrine.

All the pieces are fabulously gilded and, with the exception of the saucers, all have a charming 18th Century romantic scene to the front.

The coffee set has been used. There is a little wear to the gilding on the back of the teapot but I can see no chips or cracks.

The cups are of a size to take an espresso. The pot is 18 cm (7 inches) high including the lid.

A delightful coffee set to use or display and another divine antique brocante find from La Belle Étoffe!
