B1652 - SOLD

This is a sublime panel of antique French printed cotton dating from the 19th Century. We also have 2 curtains, B1650 and B1651 made in the same fabric. They are listed in our other items.

The print is formed by a plethora of flower and leaf bouquets. These are linked with garlands and tendrils upon which little hirondelles perch and around which butterflies flutter - just lovely!

The colours are a wonderful combination of greys and pinks on a cherry red background.

The textile is crisp. There are some minor marks (please see photos) which blend into the design but the textile is very robust and could be laundered if required.

The panel measures :- 114 cm (3 ft 8.75 inches) long x 80 cm (2 ft 7.5 inches).
