B1674 - SOLD

This is a delightful pair of antique French gilded plinths dating from the 19th Century. They are of a perfect size to take a couple of church candles or to add a château chic finishing touch to a pair of figurines.

They are carved in wood and have a gilded gesso finish. They each have a semi circular top and have a beautiful scrolled base with carved acanthus leaf detail to the fascia.

They each have two slots at the back for hanging purposes. They are in good antique condition with just a little minor distressing to the gesso and gilding.

Each plinth measures :- 14 cm (5.5 inches) high x 12.75 cm (5 inches) wide x 8.5 cm (3.3 inches) deep.

A gorgeous pair of plinths to hold a couple of church candles or display a pair of cherished items and another divine vintage brocante find from La Belle Étoffe.
